Getting Started

How do I sign up for the boards?

Simply click on the "Register" link and fill out the fields with your information, hit submit and check your e-mail and click on the activation link.

Why do I have to be 13 or older to register?

To comply with United States Law, all registrants must me 13 years of age or older as we do not collect information from children under this age.

Why do I need to enter my e-mail address?

Registration ensures that each account can be tracked back to the owner of an e-mail account, and allows you to recover your password should you forget it.

It won't be used to send you spam or anything, don't worry. You can change this address at will once you've registered.

Why I can't stay logged in to my account?

You must have cookies enabled to use the message boards. Some browser security settings can stop your browser from using cookies, so you may need to adjust your system settings.

Either that or you're viewing a cached version of the page. Refresh or reload the page to see an updated version (Ctrl + F5 for most Windows browsers).

What do I do if I forget my password?

Use the Lost Password form to have a replacement password mailed to you.

I got an e-mail or IM from someone at the Brink asking for my password. Should I give it to them?

Of course not. If we want your password for some reason, we'll take it from the database.

How do I post messages or create topics?

Click the applicable link in the above menu bar while on a topic or message list. If you don't see these links, you're not of a high enough user level to post on that board.
